Youngjun Kim is an undergraduate student studying Digital Media while pursuing minors in Technological Leadership and Innovation Management at the University of Houston. He is the lead programmer for the 1771 team. His responsibilities include automating the preprocessing of images in preparation for optical character recognition (OCR) as well as postprocessing results to match the needs of the team. His background in computer science came from self-taught studies. Jun experienced Java and since then explored Python, C++, C#, and other computer science languages for modding purposes. He joined the 1771 project to gain skills and collarbone with a team. He hopes to understand and transfer new skills into personal projects.
